Color and Print Capsule

In this project, I aimed to reinvigorate Zimmermann's brand identity by integrating innovative print concepts into their product line, specifically focusing on women's dresses for the Spring/Summer 2026 season. My approach involved extensive trend forecasting using renowned research platforms such as WGSN and WWD, where I explored emerging patterns and color palettes that resonate with contemporary consumers. Following this, I utilized Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Fresco to craft original print designs that are not only visually captivating but also market-relevant. My design process included developing a unique motif that reflects the sophisticated femininity characteristic of Zimmermann while adhering to the principles outlined in my textbook's design guidelines. This experience honed my skills in digital design software and enhanced my ability to analyze and synthesize trends into compelling visual narratives. By blending research insights with creative execution, I crafted print designs that not only elevate Zimmermann's apparel offerings but also position the brand favorably within the competitive fashion landscape, making me an attractive candidate for design and merchandising roles.
